About Kumo Creative
We started Kumo Creative because we kept searching for the same thing: a place that highlights genuinely good creative products without all the noise. Not another list of "top 50 picks." Not another hustle-culture blog telling you to work harder. Just a calm, thoughtful space for people who like to make things.
Whether you design Notion templates, tie macrame knots, organize your life with planners, or build a creative side business, we think you deserve tools and inspiration that match your taste. That is what we are here for.
What we believe
Creating should feel intentional, not overwhelming. There is no shortage of products and tools in the world. The real challenge is finding the ones worth your time. We believe in quality over quantity. We believe in beautiful design that also works. And we believe that the best creative work happens when you have the right tools and a clear head.
What you will find here
We cover four areas. Digital products like Notion templates, planners, and budget trackers. Handmade craft tutorials for macrame, crochet, candle making, and more. Productivity systems and organization tools. And curated inspiration to help you figure out what to create next. Everything we feature has been tested, reviewed, or built by our team.
Our approach
We do not recommend anything we would not use ourselves. Every product featured on this site has been evaluated for quality, design, and actual usefulness. We care about the details: clean typography, thoughtful layouts, clear instructions. If something is not worth your money, we will not put it on this site. It is that simple.
We also believe creating should be accessible. You do not need expensive tools or years of experience to make something beautiful. Some of our favorite recommendations cost nothing at all.
How we make money
Transparency matters to us. Some of our links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We also create and sell our own digital products. We will never recommend something just because it pays us. Our reputation depends on honest recommendations, and we take that seriously.
The name
Kumo means cloud in Japanese. Clouds are light, free, and shaped by the wind. That is how we think creating should feel. Not forced. Not stressful. Just the natural result of curiosity meeting intention. We wanted a name that felt calm and open, like the space between having an idea and bringing it to life.
Meet the founder
Airi Taira is the Founder & Creative Director of Kumo Creative. She is a maker, organizer, and lifelong creative. She started Kumo Creative Co to build a space where people who love beautiful things can find the best products, tools, and tutorials without all the noise. When she is not testing macrame cord or reviewing Notion templates, she is probably reorganizing her workspace for the fourth time this month.
